Hi Loves, today I wanted to share with you my ideas of what to take when you fancy going on a short break. Everyone now and then likes to get away from reality just to relax. If you are going away for example 3-4 nights it is hard to think what to take because you don’t want to over pack and you don’t want to run out of clothes. Before I go abroad I like to plan outfits for the Day and Night this way I feel more organised. Bringing your favourite jewellery can help dress up the outfits, I love Mango & River Island for when it comes to fashion jewellery as I find their items to be dainty which I love!
When it comes to makeup when going abroad, I like wearing a light tinted moisturiser especially if I am going to a warm/hot country. Laura Mercier Oil Free Tinted Moisturiser is perfect to use when abroad, it has SPF 20 which gives you extra protection from the UV Rays. It gives you a no makeup look and feels very light on the skin and adds a soft hint of colour that evens and enhances skin without hiding it.
Hair products can be a pain to take away as they come in big bottles and take up space in the suitcase. I have found a great travel kit from Ouai. I think this travel kit is perfect and has every thing you need when it comes to your hair, The hair products also smell divine.
Contains:
– Dry Shampoo 40g
– Texturizing Hair Spray 40g
– Smooth Spray 49ml
– Treatment Masque Packettes 3 x 9ml
Ouai Hair Care is created by Celebrity Hairstylist Jen Atkin, the one behind some of our favourite celebrity stunning hair look, including Gigi Hadid, Klan Kardashian and Gwen Stefani, to name a few. OUAI (pronounced “way”) which means yes in a Parisian way.
“It’s about saying yes to being that effortlessly cool girl. To getting real. And to looking chic, no matter how many followers you have.”, said Jen.
No glam squad is needed when you have Ouai hair care to help you achieve your #hairgoals.
Sunglasses and a small card holder/wallet is a MUST for when I go abroad, Its nice to take away a pair of shades, I have found some gorgeous ones from Ray Ban.
I love the shape and the colour of these sunglasses they are different, not too big and on trend.
Ray-Ban describes its geometric sunglasses as a cross between a circle and a square – the cool hexagonal silhouette is particularly flattering on both long and round face shapes. This gold-tone pair is fitted with the label’s ‘silver flash’ lenses that have an eye-catching mirrored finish. The tortoiseshell acetate tips ensure all-day comfort.
I have found this adorable Gucci Card Holder, I think this one is stylish and on trend. The card holder is leather which will last a while, Great if you are taking away a small cross body bag as will fit nicely leaving you with more room in your bag.
Gucci’s ‘Marmont’ cardholder is a chic alternative to a bulky wallet. Made in Italy from quilted leather, it has four card slots and a middle compartment to hold receipts or tickets. The burnished ‘GG’ hardware is a signature pulled from the brand’s archives. – Net -A-Porter.
I was scrolling though River Island.com and came across these two items which I adored! Perfect and cute for a short trip.
The sandals are unique and I am very much into tassels recently, they have a Boho Chic look. This cute mini suitcase I came across is so Chic and has beautiful detailing with a snake skin effect. A great alternative for a luxury looking travel case.
Very nice!Xx

This is really helpful, I always completely over do it when packing for a short break and end up not even using most of the products I bring with me! Wonderful blog by the way lovely, keep up the amazing work with it! x
