Hello Everyone, I have came across a makeup brand that I REALLY wanted to try out. Alot of beauty gurus on youtube have been raving about how great and affordable the makeup is. The Makeup Revolution concealer is the most spoken about because of how great coverage it gives and people have compared it to the shape tape concealer by Tarte. Many people are saying it is a great dupe. The concealer is thick but creamy and easily blendable, works great with a small buffer brush or damp beauty blender.
TIP: To make my concealer last longer, I spray some Mac Pro Fix + onto my damp beauty blender before blending. This makes the concealer stay on and last through out the day.
I went on to Superdrug.com and purchased their concealer which was £4, an amazing price as this concealer is great quality, this has to be my new favourite and will be buying it in more shades as the one I purchased is a bit light for my skin tone but I can work around that by applying a darker powder on top.
I wanted to get a new liquid lipstick kit as I just love how they are long lasting and you do not need to keep applying after you eat or drink. I purchased a makeup revolution lip kit which is are great dupes of KYLIE JENNERS Lip kits. I purchased one in the colour NOBLE. It comes with the lip pencil which is super easy to apply as its creamy and soft and goes great with the liquid lipstick. I would recommend if purchasing this, to put on a lip cream or vasiline before applying this product, just to get some moisture on the lips as this can be a bit dry, depending how much layers you put on.
The next item I got was the contour palette which has a great range of colours to choose from. I love this palette as it has cool grey tones which are more natural looking when sculpting the face and contouring those cheekbones. The powders are really pigmented and feel amazing on the skin and gives a good coverage if you are setting your under eyes.
The palette cost me £8 which I think is a great price as some well known palettes are over £20 and that is just for one product. I was so happy that I got some amazing product all for under £20.
When shopping on Superdrug they was doing a deal if you spend over £12 on Makeup revolution products you recieve a free palette. I have looked on the website this morning & they have taken off the deal which I am sad about as I wanted to share with you guys! This palette has eyeshadows and highlighters and are soo pigmented. I have found a great palette which is similar to this palette Love conquers all at just £4. Click link to see ALTERNATIVE.
The next thing I want to purchase from this brand is their £4 eyeshadow palette. I have researched about this product and watched many youtube videos and people cannot believe how great and pigmented the eyeshadows are. Smooth and easy to apply which is what I LOVE.
