My go to night out makeup look 2020

Hello everyone,

I wanted to share with you my go to night out makeup look. I love wearing a smokey eye on a night out with a gloss lip and pretty glow to my skin. A perfect look if I’m going to a club, bar or a nice dinner date.

I don’t go too over board and have a extreme dark smokey eye, I like to keep it still noticeable but not overpowering to the eyes. I have blue eyes so brown eyeshadows make my eyes pop and stand out a little more. On the outer corners of my eyes I do add a dark brown or a tiny bit of black to put the eye look together and give it more of a smokey effect. I am loving beauty bays new eyeshadow palettes they are really good quality and you get a variety of different colours to play with. The palette is called identity 42 colour palette. I added some lashes that are from my own brand called TheFairytaleLashes.com in jasmine. These are more natural looking and elongate my eyes. You can wear these lashes up 20-23 times depending on how well you look after them. I also applied some pencil eyeliner on the bottoms of my eye lids and liquid eyeliner on the top of my lids creating a small wing effect. For the eyeshadow I love using and 100% recommend using a blending eyeshadow brush. I use morphe brushes, they are my favourite brushes to use and can also get them on beauty bay. Make sure to keep blending that eyeshadow so you get a nice blended smoothed eyeshadow look.

Now the face! I used my favourite foundation at the moment which is makeup forever foundation stick. Omg this foundation is everything it makes my face look flawless and hides blemishes like a dream. It’s a little pricey but lasts me a long time. It’s depends how much foundation you apply, I only use a little foundation and use concealer to build up coverage. Click here to get foundation

The concealer I’m using at the moment is L’Oréal Infaillible 24hr concealer and it cost me only £4.99 on amazon. I was debating whether to purchase it as I’ve used cheaper concealers in the past and never did anything for me. But this one is amazing! I use a concealer brush to apply and blends perfectly and evenly.

I’ve been using a brand called illamasqua and was kindly gifted some of the products by the brand. I’ve been using the highlighter beyond powder in daze. If you are a highlighter queen and obsessed with getting those blinding cheek bones then you need to try this out.

It has hints of pink and purple mixed with gold but when applied it gives a light but blinding colourful glow. As you can see in the picture above (me) I also have tried out the colour veil blusher in shade tonic. This is so pretty on the cheeks, I apply this with a small round brush as it’s in a liquid form. This gives you a nice sheer look and would recommend if you are looking for a nice new blusher. I only apply a little of it as I don’t want it to overpower everything. Applying a little bit on the cheeks and over the nose will give you a healthy fresh look.

To complete the look I used wet n wild lip liner in the colour e711 chestnut. I outlined my lips with this liner and then used a pink/nude gloss by benefit called sugar bomb. For brows I use Anastasia Beverly Hills pomade dip brow and applied with an angle brush. For powder I like to use L.A girl pro face HD pressed powder which I found on beauty bay.com to set my face and get rid of any unwanted shine.

Running errands fashion..

Finding an outfit that is quick to put together, still stylish and on trend.

Recently I have been into wearing more loungewear and tracksuits for running errands. If you have been looking for more laid back but still stylish outfits for when your in a rush in the morning or want to pop out and run a few errands then I am going to show you some outfits you may like that are super comfy, fresh and on trend.

In the picture above I am wearing a black tracksuit from Gym King women’s collection. The GK Sky tracksuit costs around £80 and the top and bottoms are sold individual. This is a pricey tracksuit but the quality in super thick, soft and will last a long time. Sometimes investing in better quality clothing is going to benefit you in a way of not having to keep purchasing for example loads of black tracksuits because the fabric is getting a bit tatty. The bottoms are high waisted which I love and compliments my curves. I styled this tracksuit with a on trend camel colour coat from Zara which I purchased a few years back. It cost me around £50 and is still in perfect condition. The coat makes the outfit more put together, stylish, fresh looking with a hint of class. I love styling my tracksuits with fresh white trainers or trainers that match the colour of the tracksuit. I always make sure to clean my trainers with a wipe before I leave the house, this just makes them appear more brand new like.

Some different sort of tracksuit/loungewear styles!

If you are on the hunt for something which is more relaxed looking but tracksuits are not your thing or vibe then styling jogging trousers with a relaxed shirt or a plain white tee is a perfect, quick and easy style for running errands. You can style this up to make it look super chic with boot heels or a nice fresh pair of trainers. In the picture above are some basic jogging trousers I found on Zara for £12.99!! If you are out shopping soon and prefer trying on things rather than buying online, make sure to have a look in Primark. I came across some amazing quality loungewear tracksuits today and my favourite were the beige joggers. They were soo SOFT! I have also seen them show up on a few youtube fashion hauls videos recently too.

Lush Fragrance By Hannah

Hello, I wanted to share with you guys today about fragrances that I have been trying out recently, I came across @lushfragrancebyhannah on Instagram she re creates your favourite fragrance at a cheaper price. I chose flower bomb which is a pretty popular fragrance worldwide and number 442. They are both musk but sweet fragrances and would personally wear in the evening time. Flower bomb smells like baby powder mixed with musk it is a very girly sweet fragrance and can see why it is so popular. 442 is musk as well but not so sweet, great if you love a strong long lasting fragrance. I would say that these perfumes are 100% long lasting. I sprayed 20 (flowerbomb) in the morning and when I came home in the evening my room smelt lovely.

I personally like to spray my fragrances in the air and walk into them haha, sounds crazy right? I don’t like to directly put them onto my skin as like my hair smelling of the scent too. I have a great tip if you want lovely smelling hair. Spray your fragrance onto your hair brush and then brush your hair. This is a perfect way to get your hair smelling like your favourite perfume without damaging your hair by directly spraying it on your hair.

Primark Haul – May 2018

Last weekend I went on a shopping spree to Primark, I have not been in ages and wanted to get a few pieces for holiday! I managed to find some items that I love and think will be perfect for summer.

Before going to primark, I love watching primark hauls on youtube just to see if there is anything I like so I can look out for it when in shops. I wanted to share with you two items that I found which were a bargain and good quality.

I first found these beautiful powder pink culottes which were £13. I got these trousers in a size 8 and fit perfectly. I styled them up with a crop cami top and to dress it up, I added a white blazer from pretty little thing. I will link the blazer here if you would like to check it out. – White Blazer White Blazer

For shoes I decided to wear my Dune london court heels. I think these shoes come in different colours, they recently brought out a red pair which look gorgeous. I have had these for a while now they are suede so its good to look after them. Even getting a suede shoe kit just to keep them in good condition. I love these shoes as they give any outfit a classy look.

I need to get some more colourful bags but kept to a neutral colour and styled it with a DKNY bag. I have had this bag for nearly two years now and it is in great condition. I love DKNY bags as they always last me a long time and is worth the money. You can get DKNY bags at selfridges, house of fraiser.

I found these pretty culottes online in Topshop and think they are perfect for the summer time. These look like a light weight material and love the buttons and detailing around the waist. They are a little more pricey at £25. CULOTTES

The second item I purchased was this lovely red knit jumpsuit and when I tried this on I fell in love with it even more, it fits me so well and compliments my figure. The material is light weight so is great for the summer. The colour is a vibrant red and very flattering if your going on a date or night out with the girls. I will be taking this on holiday with me and will look great with sandals.

This playsuit also cost me £13 and got a size 8. I was worried about the straps being too big but was just fine. I styled this jumpsuit with black suede court heels that are from ASOS. You could also wear nude sandal heels with this jumpsuit if you wanted to tone it down. To style this up even more, wearing a leather jacket would really fit this look.

Trying out white eyeliner!

Hello Everyone,

Last week I decided to try out white liquid eyeliner, I have noticed it has been a trend on social media and makeup artists are creating beautiful looks. It was a little harder to apply than black eyeliner, you have to apply a few layers as it can look patchy. I created a glitter light smokey eye to go with it. To make the glitter look more pigmented I used Mac Pro fix +! But you can damp a flat eyeshadow brush to get the same effect.

Lashes are by house of lashes in siren. For my brows I have been using Anastasia dip pomade. Super easy to apply with a angle eyebrow brush.

My Favourite liquid Lipsticks

Hello Everyone,

Sorry I haven’t posted in a while, I have been working on my social media page @georginalongmakeup – Instagram.

Jeffree star cosmetics have a range of velour liquid lipsticks. I am going to be purchasing a few more as they are not drying or have a tacky feeling, they have a lovely scent to them. I would definitely recommend this brand if your trying out liquid lipsticks for the first time.

If your wanting to create more of a fuller lip I would recommend a matte lip kit. Makeup Revolution have a great range and only cost £6. You can shop for these products in Superdrug. It comes with a lip liner which is great to line your lips for more definition. I am going to be putting a post up soon about makeup Revolution products are they are such good quality for the price!!

If you have any recommendations on liquid lipsticks you have tried, do let me know, I am always on the search for new makeup.

Kylie Jenner lip kits are amazing to create a fuller lip if desired, a little bit more on the pricey side, but are worth it as the pigmentation is good quality. Nyx creme lipsticks are great, non drying. They are cheaper too, really nice to use everyday and long lasting.

Colourful Eyeshadow

I have been using various palettes to come up with one eyeshadow look. Makeup Revolution palette are great to use if your starting of creating looks or if you want to build yourself a makeup collection. Their palettes are great quality and only £4 at Superdrug.com

Beautybay.com have makeup geek eyeshadow pans which are about £6. I purchase a few of these from time to time and are great to use with palettes. I want to try out white eyeliner, I think it’s the new trend and love the way it looks with eyeshadow.

Pink Smokey Eye Makeup

Hello Everyone, I have create a pink smokey eye look using the Huda beauty mauve makeup obsessions palette and a makeup geek eyeshadow. I love these two brands and they have such great pigmentation to their eyeshadows.

I haven’t used a pink eyeshadow in a while and wanted create a makeup look which stood out a bit more. I think it’s really important to have a blending brush when using bright or dark colours this will even it out and get rid of harsh lines. You can get some amazing brushes at beautybay.com

I love using false eyelashes when using eyeshadow, it gives my eye a nice look and puts everything together, I always use a pencil or liner to create a wing and like using a pencil in my water line.
