I received this lovely gift over Christmas, Jimmy Choo Blossom perfume is a sweet fragrance which I love! fresh and perfect to wear in the summer time or winter time. I thought I would share this perfume with you if you are looking to purchase a new fragrance. I am always buying new perfumes as I like to have a choice of what scent I want depending on the outfit lol. I have a 40 ml bottle which is plenty for me, I think the bottle is so cute and a great size if you want to put it in your bag.
What I like about this perfume is that it is not over powering, its light but lasting. I prefer lighter perfumes as strong scents can give me a headache. I think this is perfect to give someone as a gift.
‘Sparkling and vivacious, it’s the sip of a first cocktail, the clinking of glasses with the girls, the sexy soundtrack on the dance floor’. – Jimmy Choo

Soleil tan deChanelis a great product if you want to look more bronzed. As its winter time I still want to have a gorgeous glow. I recommend this product if you feel the same, you can apply this under your foundation or over the top. I normally apply this over the top and use it as a bronzer. I contour my cheekbones, around the edges of my forehead and jaw line. This makes my face appear more slim which is what I like doing as my face is round/square shaped.
‘A cream-gel bronzer that glides on to leave a velvety finish.Sun-kissed and natural this can be worn either over or under your usual CHANEL foundation’ – Chanel
I have had this product for some time and it still looks brand new, you can get so many wears out of this product. The price of this product is £36.00 which is on the pricy side. As Chanel is a luxury brand it is expected but I have to say this is very long lasting and I won’t need to be buying any more bronzers for a while.
I love getting ready for NYE, I have created a look that I think will be great for a night out. For my eyes I have created this gold/green shimmer eyeshadow going into a black smokey eye. I thought to do something different for a change as I am always using the same eyeshadow colours. The gold and green tones made my blue eyes pop and to finish off the eye look I applied some full wispy lashes.
I started off by applying a base colour to my eyelid, this can be any white/creamy tone eyeshadow that you have. I used my 25A Copper Spice morphe palettefor this and applied the product using a flat brush. As always I use my MAC Fix + and spray the product on to my brush as this makes the eyeshadow stay on longer and gives more of a pigmented effect. Continuing using my morphe palette I applied a light warm orange/brown eyeshadow using a crease blending brush.
For the centre of the lid I used the Makeup Geek Dirty Martini Eyeshadow, this is a light green colour. I would highly recommend makeup geek eyeshadows, they are known for their great pigmentation and are easily to blend. It is important to keep blending your eyeshadows together, this will give you a smoother look to avoid any harsh lines. I went back to my morphe palette and picked up a slightly darker brown tone to apply into my crease, this will give my eye more definition and over the top of my green eyeshadow I used a gold shimmer eyeshadow, you can use a flat brush or your finger and lightly apply this over the centre of the lid. I then went in with a grey/black tone eyeshadow only applying a little bit to my crease just to put the eye look together. I picked up my blended brush once again and blended every thing out.
To give me a glow on my face I used my Gerard Cosmetics Highlighter in the colour Grace. For foundation I used my born this way foundation by too faced, the reason I used this foundation is because it gives a full coverage which I think is great for a night out as it will last longer and look great in photos. For my Lips I applied Benefit Sugar Bomb Lip Gloss, I adore this product it is really glossy and has a lot of moisture. Plus it is not sticky like some lip glosses you get.
To get full wispy lashes, Lily lashes have the best lashes you can get plus you can get 20+ wears out of them, thats very long lasting! I have the lashes ‘Miami’the popular style and most sold as Kylie Jenner uses these lashes!
‘An ultra-wispy set of false lashes, ideal for achieving an Insta-worthy finish. The Miami lash has been seen on Kylie Jenner on the red carpet over and over. This 3D Mink Lash is the perfect way to gain a seductive finish to your favorite glam moments. Ultra-long, yet incredibly lightweight, these lashes sit seamlessly along the lash-line for a comfortable wear.’ – Lily Lashes
For everyday makeup I try to keep it as natural as possible but I can’t help to add eyeshadow, I like using a brown colour as it makes my eye colour pop and still looks natural looking. I like to add a lipstick, I use MAC Velvet Teddy and Spice Lip Liner, I think they are a great combination to use.
For eyeshadow I used Gwen Stefani Urban Decay Palette. I applied Blonde all over my lid as a base and then took my crease brush and applied the colour zone and blended that into my crease. The colours in this palette are just fantastic and really pigmented. I like to use my MAC FIX + sprayand apply this on my brush, this makes the eyeshadow pop and last longer. I have had this palette for some time now and I always use it. They have a variety of colours so I never get bored of using this. I applied Mascara and eyeliner to finish off my eye look.

I have recently been using Dior Show Mascara, I have seen this mascara many times when christmas shopping but never picked one up. Luckily when opening my gifts from family this gorgeous mascara appeared, I could not believe it as I have seen this product many times recently when shopping online and going to the shops. As soon as I receive anything beauty related for christmas I have to try the product out.
Big fat chunky, bristly brushes are good for people who want a lot of volume and curl. I would recommend using this product if you are looking for having fuller looking lashes. Dior has said this product will give you a lash extension effect. Here is what Dior has to say about the product;
‘In 2015, Diorshow, the professional Dior Backstage mascara, is being renewed. Its new-generation formula enriched with microfibres optically reproduces the effect of lash extensions used by runway makeup artists. Its patented AIR-LOCK™ wiper prevents the formula from being in contact with the air, keeping the mascara from drying in the tube, for fresh application, day after day.’
Recently I have had troubles with growing my eyelashes back after having individuals lashes put in, no matter when getting them taken off professionally or myself some of my eyelashes fall out. Thankfully my eyelashes are now back and fuller, I have been applying castor oil on my lashes, it is capable of preventing them from breaking and can help the growth of your eyelashes. I feel that the majority of women purchase a mascara to get fuller/longer lashes, I would highly recommend using castor oil. I will add some links of castor oil I use, It is safe to use around the eyes when applying carefully with a cue tip/cotton bud.

For christmas I received this lovely gift ‘HUDABEAUTY mauve obsessions eye shadow palette’ I adore the colours and they are very pigmented which is what I like when it comes to eyeshadows. I created a glam eye look for Christmas using this palette, I could not wait to try out Huda Beauty eyeshadows as I have never owned one before. I used one of morphe crease brushes and blending brush to create a smokey eye, I will leave a link below so you can check out a selection of brushes they have. I would recommend morphe, zoeva & makeup geek as these brands have high quality makeup tools.
The matte colours in this palette I would use as a base and into my crease, the metallic colours I would apply into the centre of my eye lid. To make the metallic eyeshadow pop and stand out even more, I would normally take my MAC pro fix + and spray the product all over my brush. This will make the eyeshadow appear more pigmented and it will last longer which is a bonus.
