Summer Beauty

Summer Beauty 2018

In the summer time I like to wear minimal makeup as possible but of an evening when going out, I cant help myself and love creating a nice smokey eye look. The day time I like to wear a tinted moisturiser. The one I use is from Avon called True Nutra Effect Radiance Tinted Moisturiser SPF20. It normally costs £6 but currently on sale for £3 at the moment. The product appears to be white but once applied its gives you a nice tint and glow.

For the evening time I like to use Zoeva Cocoa Blend Palette, it is very pigmented and has a creamy formula which makes it very easy to blend out when using a blending brush. If you are on a budget when it comes to cosmetics but still want to get a few products that are good quality, I highly recommend Makeup Revolution. They are reasonable priced, even the packaging is cute. You can get a £4 eyeshadow palette and their concealer has been compared to Tarte shape tape concealer.

When it comes to lips I use the brand MAC. Mac Velvet Teddy has always been my favourite and goes with everything. Its a natural dark nude colour with a hint of pink. I love using this with Spice lip liner or the colour whirl.

For christmas I received this lovely gift  ‘HUDABEAUTY mauve obsessions eye shadow palette’ I adore the colours and they are very pigmented which is what I like when it comes to eyeshadows. I created a glam eye look for Christmas using this palette, I could not wait to try out Huda Beauty eyeshadows as I have never owned one before. I used one of morphe crease brushes and blending brush to create a smokey eye, I will leave a link below so you can check out a selection of brushes they have. I would recommend morphe, zoeva & makeup geek as these brands have high quality makeup tools.

The matte colours in this palette I would use as a base and into my crease, the metallic colours I would apply into the centre of my eye lid. To make the metallic eyeshadow pop and stand out even more, I would normally take my MAC pro fix + and spray the product all over my brush. This will make the eyeshadow appear more pigmented and it will last longer which is a bonus.
